Maskin Mekano is a family-owned business in the very sprawling Jönköping region of southern Sweden. The company was founded in 1956 and has since supplied high quality equipment to contractors and quarry companies. In later years lay on the development and production of mobile high quality/high capacity screening and crushing equipment, a choice that has led to significant growth, a market leading position in Sweden and increasing exports. Maskin Mekano is your partner for productivity.

All installations are designed and assembled at the factory in Jönköping.

Maskin Mekano was founded in 1956 in Jönköping in southern Sweden by two brothers. After a different series of owners during the 1980s and 1990s, the company has been owned by the Smithman family since 1997. Maskin Mekano has produced high-quality equipment from the beginning.

The Ls 200, launched in the 1970s, for topsoil production was a breakthrough in the mobile sector. Maskin Mekano has also built many custom-designed machines for both crushing and screening. The plants are known for being sturdy and well-built, always with user-friendly solutions. The first electrically driven screening plant was the Ls 400, a popular plant in the 1980s.

Today's Maskin Mekano has developed a strong standard range of mobile crushing and screening plants with a unique combination of high capacity and high quality.
